Happy New Year....Jacob got tubes today!!!

We got up and spent most of the morning at the Surgery Center in Florence, Jacob was scheduled for his ear surgery today.....all went well! His ears were in bad shape, but as you can see from his smile he had no idea what he was in getting into this morning. This is him in the holding area!

After a rough afternoon, he has finally recovered and seems to be doing well! May God bless each and everyone as we begin 2009!

Happy Holidays......how fast christmas flies by!!!!

Our family enjoyed a great Christmas holiday...and it is amazing how fast time flies when you are so busy. We made so many wonderful memories and look forward to the New Year!

I wanted to share a few photos from our holiday week. Morgan and Jake put out special food for the reindeer. Jacob enjoyed eating Santa's leftover cookies!!

Tooth Fairy time!

Morgan lost her first tooth yesterday, she bit into an apple and then remembered her loose tooth. After 30 minutes of more wiggling, she pulled it herself.

Christmas parade

Morgan had so much fun this past weekend being a part of the float for My Girls Dance Center in the Moulton Christmas parade! After warming up they were treated to a party at the studio including spending the night and eating breakfast in their PJS!

Jacob also came dressed to watch his sissy ride on the float and to get some candy!

We tried again to get a photo for Mimi's Christmas card, this time we tried our PJ's...maybe next year!

Christmas cards: not so cute photo shoot!!

Lesley and I were trying to be a good daughter and daughter in law and take a photo for Mimi to use for her Christmas card. After much sweat, tears, and chasing little boys our attempt did not go so well. We even tried changing locations. Sorry Mimi, we can try again but this is the best we got!!!

Jacob would not sit still, and yes his black eye does look pretty in some of these shots!

Time for Thanks!

Jake and I were able to join Morgan today at school for Thanksgiving lunch. She was happy to see us. We are thankful for all of the many blessings that we have received.

Jacob's love of shoes & the vacuum cleaner

Most of you who may stop by to visit or if Jacob visits you, you are aware of his obsession with shoes! He wears everyone's shoes and wants a pair on ALL of the time! I wanted to share a few photos of his different choices!!

Also he loves to vacuum. It is hard to believe he is almost 20 months old already!!!

Fall is Here!!!

I had to share this super cute photo of my "babies!" They are growing too fast and I doubt I will get many more shots in matching smocked clothes!

It is time for cooler weather and December will be here soon....we cannot wait for an exciting Christmas!

Trick or Treat

Dorothy and the scarecrow enjoyed the afternoon visiting everyone and getting lots of "treats." We had a great halloween....looking forward to the holiday season!

Fall Break Fun!!

We have had a great fall break this week! Nanny took us to the zoo and we went to the great pumpkin patch with Mimi, Aunt Lesley, and Wiley! Jacob had a blast at the splash pad. He also found his special pumpkin, but Morgan had "bigger" ideas! It is time to go back to school and Morgan is more than ready!

Little Monkeys

We were ready for church a little early, so I tried for a photo shoot in their little monkey outfits! Morgan cooperated (of course) but Jacob just wanted to climb the steps. These are the best shots I could get! I hope everyone is enjoying the fall!

Morgan is always ready for some attention and photo shoots but I have to catch Jacob off guard. Jake caught him last night in the clothes basket! He is growing so fast...18 months old already. He is sneaky like his daddy!!!!

Precious flower girls

Morgan and Emma were beautiful as flower girls this weekend at cousin Lindsey's wedding. They both did a great job and the wedding was beautiful!

Morgan is a big girl!

As many of you know, Morgan did start Kindergarten this year!

She is loving it. She even won 2 silver medals at the HES olympics, she was so proud!
